ID Document: Wehrmacht Kannonier's Soldbuch (Schwere Ersatz Batterie 4 / 213)!!!
Being offered is an original German wartime issued twenty-four page Soldbuch to a Wehrmacht soldier who served as a kannonier in Schwere Ersatz Batterie 4 / 213 and later was attached to several Sanitats (medical) units. The twenty-four page soldbuch includes handwritten entries and official stampings throughout along with a nice attached uniformed passphoto picture of the holder. As is common with these wartime books there heavy wear noted to the pages, especially at the border edges and old tape used to reinforce the spine of the book (not uncommon with these wartime books). The book offers many wonderful details such as this veteran was admitted for hospital stays in 1941 and 1943, showing late war service up until 1945. Additionally, he was awared the Ostmedaille medal. Worthy of more research and priced to sell!
