Offered is an original wartime issued Axis Romanian Medalia Crusciada Impotriva Comunismului (Crusade Against Communism) medal with attached riboon.These medals were instituted in 1942, to recognize the distiguished ervice of Romanian and other Axis forces operating on the Ostfront. The medal offered is in very good condition and includes the original presentation box these were offered in. The presentation box which is constructed of heavy cardboard, has noticable wear. Rarely are these medals found with original boxing, making this a wonderful rare offering.
As a bonus, this lot also includes a gold Greek post war 30 Drachmai medallion coin, which came with the Romanian medal when I obtained it - sorry no history as to how these were connected.
