Bargain Lot of (2) Photos: Rare Wehrmacht Belgian WALLOON LEGION (Later SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Division Wallonien) Soldier Pics
Being offered is a rare pair of photos of two Belgian Walloon Legion volunteers who served in the Wehrmacht; with at least one later seeing service in the Waffen SS Wallonien as a Oberscharführer. Both photos each measure to be approximately 3.5” x 2.5” inches in size and are mounted with photo corners on pieces of paper - one of which is a complete information sheet on the volunteer shown! The photos clearly show the Belgian tricolor sleeve patch being worn (one has it marked out, which appears to have been done on the negative as I see no ink on the actual photo) along with combat awards. Really a rare pair of wartime original pics of a rarely seen wartime unit, priced to sell!
