Offered is a unique and wonderful document grouping to a Wehrmacht unteroffizier who was a veteran of the French and Balkan Campaigns, who was KIA in 1941, during the Battle of Sevastopol in KRIM, Ukraine in 1941 (Infanterie Regiment. 437 / 132. Infanterie Division). The grouping includes the following:

  • Wartime issued Wehrpass, complete with all pages, numerous entries and stampings throughout and an attached passphoto pic of the holder of the book. Entries cover his wartime deployments, units, awards earned and detailing of his death at Sevastopol in 1941!

  • A uniformed photo of the holder of this grouping with handwritten notations on the reverse side, measuring to be approximately 3.25" x 2.25" inches in size.

  • An original German wartime issued 'Heldentod Urkunde für Führer Volk und Vaterland' (Death Certificate) for the holder of this grouping, issued in 1943 with handwritten entries and ink signature from the issuing Kompanie Führer. Folded but in solid very good condition.

  • A typed letter from a Wehrmacht leutnant (Feldpost 11339C - Infanterie Regiment 437) offering his condolences to the wife of the holder of this grouping, sent in 1941. The letter is folded but again is in wonderful condition, complete with ink stamping and ink signature.
