Rare Grouping: German Waffen SS Oberscharfuhrer's Soldbuch (Paybook) & Führerschein (Driver's License) Who was Involved in Construction at SACHSENHAUSEN Concentration Camp!!!
Rare grouping of a German Waffen SS Oberscharfuhrer's Soldbuch and SS driver license. The holder of this grouping was promoted to SS-Oberscharfuhrer on 1 April 1945, and he was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class, 23 April 1942. He was born on April 20, 1909, the shares Hitlers birthday. The Soldbuch was issued in Dresden, 23. April 1942; with assignmend to 4. KP./SS-Pi.Batl. The holder of this lot was eventually was transferred to Stabskompanie Bauinspektion der Waffen-SS und Polizei 'Reich Nord’, where he was to become a construction superintendent involved in the construction of an Intelligence bunker named 'Fuchsbau' (Foxhole), at Bad Saarow (construction the site became the Fuchsbau Camp Ketzendorf a subcamp of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp).
Also included is the SS Führerschein (Driver's License) of the holder of this grouping which was issued on 20.7.1944 by the SS Nachrichten Abteilung 501 at Fuerstenwalde - Spree. This was a sub camp of Sachenhausen Concentration Camp. The cover of the Soldbuch is disbound.
