ID Document: Wehrmacht Panzerjäger Unteroffizier's Soldbuch (Service in 7th & 27th Panzer Divisions)!!!
Being offered is a complete twenty-four page (with additional insert pages) Wehrmacht soldbuch (paybook) for a Panzerjäger soldier, who saw wartime combat service in a number of units. The soldbuch is in good condition, with pages attached - there is wear to the book as is the case with most all of these wartime books (see scans). The soldbuch is complete with page upon page of handwritten entries, official stampings and a uniformed passphoto pic of the holder of the book attached. The holder of the book was activated in 1940, and entered with a rank of schutzen, and by 1943 was holding the rank of unteroffizier. Some of the units the holder of this book served in were:
Panzerjäger Ersatz Abteilung 6 (1940)
Panzerjäger Abteilung 560 (1941)
Panzerjäger Abteilung 127 (1943)
Panzer Grenadier Regiment 7 (1943)
The holder of this soldbuch saw heavy combat on the Eastern Front fighting with both the 27. Panzer Division (Panzerjäger Abteilung 127 & 560) and 7. Panzer Division (Panzer Grenadier Regiment 7), with units that used the PAK 40 7.5cm anti-tank guns extensively. A number of entries show that the holder of the book was admitted to hospitals for wounds suffered, showing direct combat service.
Really a wonderful rare and complete Wehrmacht soldbuch for a Wehrmacht panzerjäger soldier.
